The relationship we have with plants goes beyond the symbiosis of our inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide, and their doing the opposite. We both circulate nutrients, we share structures, and we can benefit from the substances they have built from the sun’s energy to survive. Just seeing, smelling, and touching their life – and learning about their properties – builds an interest in using them for our health.
