Qigong is an ancient practice of self-development from China. There are many different schools and forms of qigong, but a common thread is relaxing the mind and body while also generating energy through the use of movement, breathing and meditation. In Chinese Medicine, all disease results from blockage of the movement of Qi, or vital energy, in the channels called meridians that flow throughout your body. When flow is blocked, stagnancy results. Like stagnant water, stagnant Qi creates toxins and disease. Qigong releases blockages and restores natural flow of Qi in the body. Practicing Qigong is like doing acupuncture – without the needles – on yourself!

Level 1 ZhongYuan Qigong – Six Sessions

Pains dissolve and good health is restored. The mind becomes quiet as well, allowing deeper meditation. Movements and meditations taught in Level 1 also develop your lower energy center, or lower Dantien, located just below your navel.
